Amenities: Off Leash Recreation Area (ORLA) for dogs and Landscaped Community Park  

Additional Information: Previously a neglected one half acre plot in the Inner Belt Industrial Park, Zero New Washington Park has become a favorite Off Leash Recreational Area (ORLA) for dogs. It includes an agility training area featuring tunnels and climbing elements, dog bag dispensers, two drinking fountains with water dishes, and a spray area for cleaning and cooling dogs. The new OLRA is extensive and includes 100% ADA accessibility, three entrances, paved pathways, benches, a covered pavilion, and over 50 new trees. Other components of the design include re-purposed granite curbing from the Somerville Ave reconstruction, LED lighting and a landscaped community seating area with tables and chairs.
